What does the role involve?
As the Transport Controller (Hilti GB and Ireland) you will manage the transport (3PL) services offered to Hilti customers to set service levels / KPI's, whilst controlling, driving delivery performance and overall net delivery service level to our customers. You will manage transportation costs to set budgets and the productivity KPI for Hilti GB & Ireland, taking responsibility for on-time detailed monthly invoice checks, reporting and claims.
You will iIdentify, launch and manage project initiatives supporting continuous improvement and facilitates across National/International departmental collaboration projects with Global Logistics, Customer Services, Sales, Repairs, Warehouse and Material Management. Handling and resolving customer complaint escalations you will seek sustainable customer solutions, while organising ad-hoc Transport service bookings as and when required.

What you need is:
- Educated to at least Degree Level
- Previous Supply Chain experience
- Proven IT experience, including SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, reporting and interpretation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to travel on business at certain times Nationally and Internationally as required
- Desire to develop a career in Supply Chain outside of the Transport function
- International mobility for longer term career progression outside of the UK
