What's the role?

As the Supply Planner you will manage the flow of materials within GB and Ireland into the Van Stock network, ensuring that there is an optimisation of stock and service level at all locations in line with company objectives.

What does the role involve?

As the Supply Planner for Van Stock and Events, you will partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to maintain efficient stock levels within the Van demo stock locations which steers the Supply Chain, taking into consideration different plans and scenarios to achieve targeted sales and delivery performance. You will plan, review and release Inventory into the Van demo stock to ensure the appropriate product portfolio is held at optimum levels with pro-active management of system / planning alerts.

You will coordinate between Materials Management and Sales and Product Management ensuring all events and phase-in / phase-out items are planned effectively and the new product launch process is fully understood and executed on time, managing all internal stock shortages ensuring that appropriate action is taken to resolve with minimum cost and maximum attention to customer service.

What you need is:

  • Technical or Business University degree
  • Experience with Microsoft excel fundamental functions (formula)
  • SAP system experience preferred
  • Logical thinker with a good attention to detail and high level of commitment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Materials Management experience an advantage but not essential
  • Fluent in English
  • Second language an advantage but not essential (In particular Swedish, Danish or Finnish)
  • Flexibility to travel within the Northern Europe region when required
  • Long-term interest in pursuing an international career
