What's the role?

This is an exciting role here at Hilti where you will be tasked with creating and rolling out our strategy across our Northern European territories. Which means you will need to be confident in producing great content that not only engages and enriches the lives of our focus customers but helps increase the organic traffic to our website and drives engagement.

Based from the regional hub in Manchester, this role will cover Great Britain, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

What does the role involve?

In the role of Content Manager you'll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and business units to ensure our key content programmes are intuitive, consistent & serve the needs for all markets and focus customers. You'll partner with subject matter experts to create digital content campaigns which deliver their strategic objectives with maximum impact and across all target audiences. You will need to feedback, edit and create written, visual and moving image content to feed into these campaigns. You'll also support with writing outbound email campaigns
As Content Manager you'll be tasked with creating a strategically-aligned and impactful digital content calendar and will act as a subject matter expert bringing thought leadership and expertise as well as driving best practice adoption and sharing across the markets.

Our Head Office is currently based next to Old Trafford but in early 2021 we will move to state of the art new premises at Circle Square in Central Manchester. We will continue to offer free parking for employees and will be located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop.

What you need is:

As well as bringing a strong creative flair, a strategic mindset and top analytical skills to the team, you should also have:
Exceptional understanding of content, either in Brand or Ecommerce, with knowledge of the importance of content management
Copywriting experience
A good working-knowledge of SEO
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
Formal qualification in marketing or a related subject
Content Management Systems (AEM)
