What's the role?

The role involves being field based travelling to customer jobsites / warehouses to manually tag customer assets, commodities and consumables with Hilti ON!Track Asset Management System tags.

The role will be the after care sales specialist for the technical ON!Track Asset Management System.

Your Responsibilities
Travelling to customer jobsites / warehouses to manually tag customer tools, materials, safety equipment and consumables with Hilti ON!Track Asset Management System tags.
Entering asset data into a customer-facing database using both a desktop and smartphone based system.
Training customers on the use of both desktop and smartphone ON!Track applications – From entering asset data themselves to using the system to best help their daily work.
Setting milestones and touch points with the customer, to support software integration as part of a Care Phase.
Nurturing relationships with customers, and helping them find the most innovative and software driven solutions for their needs during the Grow Phase.

What you need is:

  • HNC/HND level qualifications or equivalent required although degree preferred
  • Relevant functional experience, ideally retail or warehousing, and commercial knowledge in order to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail oriented and pro-active –a consistent overachiever of goals and objectives.
  • Strong IT skills including MS-Office. IT / Software background will be a plus.
  • Effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to travel across Birmingham – Role will be predominantly field-based with intermittent office days.
  • Ideally living in or willing to relocate to Birmingham.
  • For future career progression, must be mobile within the U.K.
