Key Account Manager
What's the role?
We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to join our regional building envelope sales team in the South. This is no ordinary sales job, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture.

What does the role involve?
Devise, coordinate and deliver detailed strategies to maximize the profitable potential of the assigned key accounts focusing on curtain wall and ventilated façade applications.
Develop a high level network within the architects, panel manufacturers, panel system specifiers, engineers, building owners and influencers.
Qualified candidates will investigate, evaluate and provide specification support to ensure we increase Hilti’s direct and indirect spend in the Building Envelope trade.
Responsibilities include close collaboration to relevant stakeholders inside the business to ensure projects meet the performance criteria, schedule and budget expectations.
Maintain a high self-drive and commitment to achieve consistent results.

What you need is:
- Proven selling track record with visible results
- Strong technical background (ideally with qualifications in architecture or engineering)
- Excellent negotiating skills in pricing, trading agreements, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in variety of façade systems with a solid understanding of building physics and thermal analysis
- Can fully understand façade related drawings and diagrams (knowledge of AutoCAD being an advantage)
- Clear demonstration of understanding or relationships with key players/customers within the segment
- Valid driving license to UK DVLA requirements
