What's the role?

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our award-winning finance hub within the reporting and controlling team on a 12 month maternity contract. In the role you will execute and further develop all reporting activities for the Northern Europe region. You will also work with stakeholders both locally and globally to provide reporting and analytical input and support to projects.

What does the role involve?

As the Finance Business Analyst you will create, maintain and develop all required reporting activities for the region (overall reporting approach will cover standard reports, ad-hoc reporting, web-query platform and end user training). You will be tasked with creating business specific transparency of financial results and business performance, contributing to performance management and lead improvement projects for the region via reporting efficiency and data excellence.

This role will involve business partnering with the wider stakeholder group across finance and the wider business to optimise business steering via value added reporting. You will also advise on best practice regarding presenting multiple data sets and tailoring reports to the necessary audience.

Our Head Office is currently based next to Old Trafford but in early 2021 we will move to state of the art new premises at Circle Square in Central Manchester. We will continue to offer free parking for employees and will be located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop.

What you need is:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, business, economics or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Good finance business knowledge/acumen
  • Strong MS Excel Skills
  • Any of the below would be advantageous to your application:
  • Masters degree
  • Knowledge of SAP R3, SAP-BI, SAP Analytics Cloud and/or Power BI
  • Database skills (e.g. MS Access, SQL)
