We’re looking for a creative, forward thinking Earned Media Manager to join our team and support our growth within the market. You’ll work with the Regional Head of Brand and Communications to develop and roll out integrated Earned Media strategies. Not only will you be a natural communicator, but you’ll be able to demonstrate building and maintaining lasting relationships with external publications and media outlets.

What does the role involve?

You will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and influence and work closely with the Northern Europe Social Media Manager and external influencers to strongly position Hilti in the market.

You will support the Market Organisation Brand Specialists with the implementation of Earned Media concepts and strategy locally and lead on GB implementation. You will take responsibility for Crisis response management and consultation and deliver thought leadership and Earned Media concepts (round-tables, PR events, roadshows).

You’ll have a number of responsibilities such as:

•Increasing brand share of voice in the region and social influence
•Working with external influencers to strongly position Hilti in the market
•Take the lead on delivering thought leadership concepts at PR events, roadshows and industry roundtables
•Implementing the earned media strategy across E1 markets while taking the lead for GB
•Crisis response management and consultation

Our Head Office is currently based next to Old Trafford but in early 2021 we will move to state of the art new premises at Circle Square in Central Manchester. We will continue to offer free parking for employees and will be located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop.

What you need is:

  • Extensive experience of managing Earned Media, digital PR and Branding campaigns
  • International PR or Marketing degree or equivalent experience in a senior position
  • Exceptional understanding of Earned Media, either in Brand or Ecommerce, with knowledge on the importance of press relationship management and integration of press activity with digital reporting and business impact
  • Excellent Copywriting skills
  • Reporting and analysing business impact of own PR campaigns (Google Analytics, Excel, Cision, AEM)
  • B2B sector knowledge is preferable
  • Skilled knowledge of creation programs (Mac, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere) a bonus
