What does the role involve?
As the Data Insights Analyst for Northern Europe you will perform analytics with Hilti data, to find patterns and draw conclusions on strategic topics, aiming to answer some fundamental questions of our business, driving a culture of data-driven decision making as a part of Agile project teams; working as a floating resource in a flexible and proactive manner to support the goals and projects of the Marketing team. You will extract and analyse complex data sets, querying ERP Business Warehouse (e.g. SAP S/4 Hana / SAP Analytics Cloud), Data Lakes (e.g. Azure Cloud) and local SQL servers
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across the Hilti business in Northern Europe and beyond to provide data-driven insights, analytics and predictions, which problem solve and guide decision-making on a variety of topics from Sales Productivity to Customer Experience.

Why should you apply?

What you need is:
- Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics (or similar subject)
- Proven technical competencies and experience sourcing, processing, analysing and generating insights from complex data sets by identifying patterns, trends and predictions.
- Previous experience of Data Presentation, Visualisation, Reporting and competent in PowerBI, Tableau, PowerPoint
- Experience with Big Data storage & processing tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Proven ability to transform data insights into real business impact
- Proven ability to work in project teams and business partner with others
- Proven ability to work in project teams & business partner with others. Ideally in Agile environment.
- Any experience with machine learning or AI would be beneficial
- The role will involve occasional travel across the Northern Europe region.
